MLP

In our Multilingual Learners Program (MLP) we focus on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills and help our students build academic knowledge while they improve their English proficiency. 

One of the ways we do this is by providing the students with engaging and hands on experiences.  This year, we partnered with the Maritime Center to take our MLP students on a field trip where students participated in a boat cruise, nature walk, toured the museum and learned more about our community's diverse ecosystem. 

The Bluffton Middle School MLP department serves the multilingual students of our school.
