Virtual Learning Expectations:

Students will need to log-in to each of their classes video lessons each day. This is how we will be taking attendance.

Tip for Success:

  • Log-in 5 minutes before class starts to make sure your laptop is set up correctly.
  • Charge laptop every night
  • Participate in class lessons and ask questions when you need help
  • Set up a workspace for virtual learning where you can make room for your laptop, materials, and agenda
  • Stay organized and keep up with your assignments don’t get behind
  • Be respectful and positive while communicating with your teachers and classmates in video lessons and in the classroom chat

Bluffton Middle will be using Google Classroom and Zoom for the first week of school. We feel it is important for students to feel comfortable when they start middle school and since our new K12 Learning Solutions platform is new for students, this will allow teachers to help students ease into the new K12 platform. We hope this will ease worry and start the year off to a great start. Please make sure your child has joined the Google Classrooms for each of their teachers on their schedule. This needs to be completed before the first day of school.
