Attendance is a key factor to student success.Tardy students must check in with the front office when he/she arrives to get a pass to class, parents do not need to come in with their student.

Students being dismissed early will need to be checked out prior to 3:15 pm on a regular day schedule or 12:15 pm on an early dismissal schedule. The person picking up your student will need to bring their ID and be confirmed on pick-up list for your student.

Absent students must submit a written excuse explaining the reason for his/her absence within 3 days after returning to school. Keep in mind that that after 3 unexcused absences in a row, or 5 total, your student will be considered truant. Excused absences include sickness, doctor/dental appointments, legal appointments, or bereavement. Please send any doctor/parent notes in with your student to our front office staff or send an email to our attendance clerk, do not call the school regarding absences.

If your student is planning on being absent for an extended period of time email the attendance clerk, not the teacher.
